Bananas taste good alone or with other foods. They are inexpensive to buy. The banana has many health benefits. These benefits range from high vitamin content to being good for the heart. The following is a list of the wonderful benefits that come from eating bananas.

- Very high in mineral count, especially potassium
- High in dietary fiber
- Eating a banana can help with depression and stress relief
- Helps keep bones and kidney’s healthy, and can reduce the risk of death by stroke
- Help keep your heart and nervous system in good shape
- Good for your immune system
- Eating bananas helps with morning sickness
- Helps reduce stomach acid in people who have ulcers
- It is said that it can also be rubbed on mosquito bites to reduce itchiness
The health benefits of the banana are huge. Bananas are inexpensive and abundant at the grocery store. This fruit tastes good by itself, and can be added to other dishes to make them more desirable. Try eating a banana on unsweetened cereal to give it extra flavor. Children, and some adults, like peanut butter and banana sandwiches.
