When using leftovers, these sandwiches are easy to throw together. You simply look through the refrigerator to see what you can find. Those last three meatball is sauce. A leftover hot dog roll. A tablespoon or two of shredded cheese. Whatever is available that might make a decent sub.
Ingredients

shredded or grated cheese
hot dog roll

Warm the meatballs and sauce in a skillet.

Put the cheese inside the roll.

When the meatballs are warm, place them inside the roll with a little sauce.
Tips

Use any vegetables that are leftover from other meals, such as diced tomato, onion or green pepper.

Cheese slices can also be used.

Serve with a side salad of greens and chopped cucumber.
