Sweet n Sour Chicken Pizza

Pineapple and its cross section

For this pizza, you can use a homemade dough recipe or a pre-baked. I usually use the latter.

Pizza is great for lunch or dinner, or even as a snack when friends gather. There are many pizza topping variations, as well as different types of sauces that can be used. This particular recipe uses sweet n sour sauce.

Ingredients

pizza dough or crust

sweet n sour sauce

mozzarella cheese, shredded

parmesan cheese, grated

chicken pieces, precooked

pineapple tidbits, drained

  1. If using dough: Grease pan and work dough to cover.

If not: Place a pizza crust on a baking pan.

  2. Spoon some sweet n sour sauce onto the crust and spread it around with the back of a spoon.

  3. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the sauce, then mozzarella cheese over that.

  4. Place precooked pieces of chicken where desired on the cheese, then do the same with the pineapple tidbits.

  5. Place the pan in the oven and bake at 350* to 400* (depending on the oven) until the dough is done and the cheese is melted. About 20 minutes.

Tips

  • Purchase grocery items on sale and/or with coupons to save money.

  • It may be cheaper to buy store/generic brand items.

Serving Suggestions

  • Serve this pizza with a side salad of greens and grape or cherry tomatoes.
