While there are far more affordable ways to eat, and I had followed that way of consuming food for many years, those ways are not healthy. At least not for me. For my health, I needed to change things up.
When possible, I buy healthier versions of items that might cost more, but will help to liven up my menu a bit. For example, I use coconut and almond flours in small quantities. These are expensive, but I use such a small amount at a time that it all evens out. I use coconut butter and ghee, and coconut oil when cooking.
Feel free to tweak these recipes as you need to for the most savings.
